Traces the origin and evolution of mankind from Lake Turkana in Kenya and explores life in modern Kenya. On the shores of Lake Turkana world famous anthropologist Richard Leakey has discovered 1,000 square miles of fossil rich bearings, which have provided the world with its most significant evidence of mankind's origins. Humanoid fossils of up to 2 million years old have been found. Also to be found living around the lake are 6 tribes of hunters and nomads existing along with an astonishing variety of wildlife.
