Shattered Dreams
Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of optimism and pride for African Americans has been tarnished and, in the case of many black youths, virtually shattered. Inspired by MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech, youth worker Ian Brewster introduces us to the youth of Glendower, a town where stories of drug deals, playground shootouts, and SWAT team takedowns are chillingly common.
