Born Winners: A 26 Part Series

They are between the ages of 8 and 13. Their names are Timmy, Yim, Anton, Tarek, Bertand, Maria. They live in Thailand, Russia, Tunisia, France, Spain, the United States. They surf, Thai box, run long distance, play baseball, cricket, race camels and ostriches, dance the flamenco. BORN WINNERS features the lives of 26 children from around the world who accomplish excellence in specific sports, which are a part of their individual cultures. By working hard some often overcome obstacles and fulfil their dreams by achieving championship status. We are invited into their homes, villages and cities -where the values and traditions of their countries are unfamiliar to us. Each child also describes the trials and tribulations of training, competitions, victories and even defeats. They are all winners!
