Among interviewed artists are V. Komar, A. Kosolapov, O. Vasiliev, V. Bahkchinian, L. Sokov and others. The film also includes interviews with American and Russian art critics and contains works of more than 60 non-conformist artists from The Norton and Nancy Dodge Collection of Nonconformist Art from the Soviet Union, Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University and private collections. It also tells the story of art collector Norton Dodge whose efforts have resulted in the largest collection of Russian-Soviet non-conformist art in the world located in the US.
