John Steinbeck
During his early years Steinbeck pursued writing, but for a living maintained himself by working as a caretaker. In 1935 TORTILLA FLAT was successfully published and fame was achieved. He married three times and was involved in politics and controversy over W.W.II and the Vietnamese War. Steinbeck received the Nobel Prize in 1962 and died in 1968.Release
